        Is there a way of putting Linux on my G8 box without losing all my Kodi addons?

          Probably not, from what I understood it flashes a new firmware.

          The best way would be to make a note of all addons you have, and install them again.

            Benefactor is correct. It is a brand new install of firmware, wiping the box of previous Android installation.

              You could try backing up your addons to ‘XBMC Backup’ and then restoring once the Linux build is in place. Using an SD card to back up to.
