XBMC has recently been released in version 13.0 codenamed project Gotham. This release improves the general reliability of XBMC and provides new layers of settings from the novice user to expert. However, this is currently a Beta release, meaning that it is still in its developmental stages and hasn’t been signed off for mainstream use. This wont happen until the XBMC community has thoroughly tested the Beta version and reported back any bugs or stability issues.
We would like to make our customers aware that a number of sellers supplying android boxes on the Amazon.co.uk DroidPlayer listing are not supplying DroidPlayer manufactured boxes. They are supplying counterfeit cloned boxes that do not carry the Droidplayer branding. Furthermore the PCBA’s used in the manufacture are likely to be inferior and not able to fully support our firmware, these sellers are either using different firmware or illegally making use of the firmware and android application made available to our customers.
